Bhubaneswar:21/1/25:Three day national workshops related to the new education policy 2020 have been inaugurated. Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi and Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan have participated in this and expressed their views regarding its functioning in Odisha. In the new education policy, emphasis will be given to the creation of strong infrastructure and qualitative education in the primary education sector. The state government has already decided for this and the Chief Minister has said that this new policy will be implemented from the next academic year.
Instead of 10+2 provision, 5+3+3+4 provision will be implemented in the state. With emphasis on preschool education, children’s bowls will be opened for children. Without any pressure, emphasis will be given to children’s basic and numeracy knowledge. Extensive infrastructure will be created for this in the coming years. The Chief Minister has mentioned that emphasis will be given to teacher recruitment, preparation of textbooks, and supply of other textbooks.
On this occasion, Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan has said that, in the arrangements made for the preparation of the curriculum of the state, the opinion of prominent people of Odisha who have skills and experience in the field of education should be taken. The glorious history, history, and the subject of grandsons of Odisha should get a place in the curriculum. He said that the new education policy is an ideal principle to ensure that everyone can get an education easily and conveniently. He believes that the National Education Policy and the State Education Policy will help build a bright future for the children of Odisha.
