Photos and video of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s inside Lingaraj temple have triggered a controversy

Bhubaneswar:29/10/24: Photos and video of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s, reportedly taken on the premises of Lingaraj temple in Bhubaneswar, have triggered a controversy in Odisha.

Sources said the actor, who was in Odisha’s capital for an event, visited Lingaraj temple on Monday evening when some pictures and video were taken. Some of these pictures were later posted on social media and went viral.

After having a darshan of Lord Lingaraj inside the temple, Shipla took photos and videos on the shrine premises.

The actress, who was seen wearing a golden suit, was also holding the flag of the temple. In the viral video, a man was seen explaining to her about the temple. The man was identified by some as the supervisor of the temple. A controversy emerged when the photo of the actress inside the temple has gone viral on social media.

Questions are being raised as to how and with whose permission the actress was photographed inside the temple and the video was shot. Notably, Shilpa was in Bhubaneswar on Monday to inaugurate a jewelery shop.
