Darshan of Lord Jagannath and His siblings will be closed from 5 pm tomorrow for the preparation of Bahuda Yatra

Puri:13/7/24:Darshan of Lord Jagannath and His siblings will be closed from 5 pm tomorrow for the preparation of Bahuda Yatra to be held on Monday. Speaking to the media, Puri Collector Siddharth Shankar Swain said that the deities will return to their abode Srimandir after spending nine days at Gundicha temple.

The process started on Friday with Dakhina Moda of all the chariots. The south turn of the Darpadalan and Taldhwaj Chariots of Devi Subhadra and Lord Balabhadra were done on Friday. Today, the Nandighosh chariot was turned southward direction. Now, three chariots are parked in front of the Nakachana door of Gundicha temple.

Devotees can have darshan of the deities till 5 pm. The doors of the temple will be closed thereafter, the Collector said. Elaborate arrangements have been made for the return journey of the Lord. Earlier, the darshan was fixed till 4 pm, but the administration has extended it till 5 pm.
