Bhubaneswar:1/7/24: The new Chief Secretary of Odisha, Manoj Ahuja, on Monday chaired an introductory meeting with the Secretaries of various Departments at Lok Seva Bhavan in Bhubaneswar.
In the meeting, the Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary Anu Garg, gave a welcome speech and highlighted the administrative experience of the new Chief Secretary.
Chief Secy Manoj Ahuja said that Odisha has a good reputation for its administrative system. He emphasised the implementation of various plans and programmes as mentioned in the election manifesto of the new government in the state. Ahuja gave many constructive suggestions regarding effective efforts for the implementation of all the projects.
In the meeting, discussions were held on the upcoming budget presentation, management of the Puri Rath Yatra, and the arrangements for the visit of President Murmu to Odisha.
Ahuja emphasised finishing all the programmes with creativity, transparency and good governance and without any delay.
Principal Secretaries, Additional Chief Secretaries, Commissioners-cum-Secretaries of various departments held discussions with Chief Secretary Ahuja regarding various projects and programmes. The officials emphasised bringing innovation in various activities, use of technology and accountability.
Chief Secretary Ahuja has sought the cooperation of all the secretaries to carry out various tasks smoothly.
