Odisha CM, Dy CMs Call On President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan

Newdelhi:27/6/24: Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi along with Deputy CMs, Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday.

“Today, I had the privilege of meeting the Honorable President Droupadi Murmu, at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi. The entire nation and our state feel proud to have you as the President, ” CM Majhi wrote on his X handle.

“We had a fruitful discussion on various issues related to Odisha with Rashtrapati Ji.”, wrote Deputy CM Pravati Parida on her X handle.

The Odisha CM and his two deputies are on a three-day visit to Delhi to draw the attention of the Central Government on various issues related to the interest of Odisha to further accelerate the development of the state.

Chief Minister Mohan Majhi along with Deputy Chief Ministers, KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, called on Vice-President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar at the Vice-President’s Enclave today.

They are slated to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss various issues related to the state.

Besides, CM Majhi and his deputies are also slated to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

This apart, the Odisha CM and two Dy CMs are also scheduled to meet the Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha, Jagat Prakash Nadda, and other senior leaders in the Upper House.
