Bhubaneswar: 2/4/24:The Election Commission of India (ECI) has issued a letter to the Odisha Chief Secretary, directing for the immediate transfer of several IAS and IPS officers in various districts of Odisha before the ensuing 2024 elections.

Accordingly, two Collectors, five SPs, and one IG have been asked to be immediately transferred to non-election-related posts.

Following is the list of officers transferred:

  • DM and DEO Cuttack Vineet Bharadwaj
  • DM and DEO Jagatsinghpur Parul Patwari

  • Khordha SP Jugal Kishore Banoth
