Odisha Chief Minister announced Notified Area Council (NAC) status to Sheragada panchayat

Berhampur:14/2/24:Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday announced the Odisha government’s decision to accord Notified Area Council (NAC) status Sheragada panchayat in Ganjam district.

Addressing a public meeting at Sheragada, the CM said “With the support of the locals, Hinjili-Sheragada constituency has become a model segment in the state. The Sheragada block has gained a new identity as the best block in the country. All houses in Hinjili-Shergada are being provided with piped water.”

Sheragada comes under the Hinjili assembly constituency represented by Naveen.

The CM also inaugurated and laid foundation stones for welfare projects worth Rs 300 crore for the area on the occasion. These initiatives are aimed at enhancing the quality of life of the residents of the region while ensuring sustainable development.
