Honorable Chief Minister’s message on the occasion of Democracy Day-2024

My best wishes to all of you on the occasion of Democracy Day.
On this occasion Father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Patel, Maulana Azad, Dr. B. R. I express my deepest condolences to the great warriors like Ambedkar, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Utkalmani Pandit Gopabandhu Das, Utkal Gaurav Madhusudan Das, Navakrushna Choudhary, Gopabandhu Choudhary, Martyr Laxnan Nayak, Veer Surendra Sai, Maa Ramadevi, Malati Choudhary, Dr. Harekrishna Mahtab, Biju Patnaik and Parvati Giri.
On this occasion I also pay my tribute to our soldiers who were martyred for the peace and security of the country.
Our country is Mahatma Gandhi, the country of Subhash. We are walking on the path of truth, peace non-violence justice and equality, and development.
Today India’s establishment is increasing in various fields in the world court.
Every state has a contribution in the development of the country. Our Odisha also has an important role. Odisha has created a new history in every field of development in the last twenty years. Odisha is moving forward in the path of transformation. Odisha’s development has become ideal for others.
Lord Jagannath is the best identity of Odia race. With his wish, the Srimandir Parikrama project has been completed.
Samalei project is also going to be public soon. Our reputation is the identity of our pride and respect. Odia University’s new campus has been inaugurated at Satyabadi. This is an important step in the development of Odia language literature.
Odisha’s economic development is very impressive. There is more than the national average. Odisha is a top performer in reducing poverty. Niti Aayog report says in the last nine years, more than one crore people have been freed from poverty.
Governance is becoming effective due to our 5T policy. The successful people of all our schemes are getting it correctly. Starting from education, health communication, irrigation, transportation, sports have transformed Odisha’s development in every field.
My government has made the village the center of development. Jagannath culture is being protected and spread in every village in our Odisha Navin Odisha program. Digital infrastructure is being developed in the village. Laxmi Bus Scheme has transformed the communication sector in the village. It has given new life to the socio-economic system of the village.
I have always given importance to agriculture and farmers’ development.
Mothers are not only the family but also the strength of our society. Mission Shakti has made 70 lakh mothers a partner of development today. I have a lot of faith in mothers.
Odisha is at the top among the states in the field of startups. We have received an award from Indian government for this. Odisha is now ahead in Industry, Information Technology, and Start-Up.
Due to our policy and transparency of youth society multinational companies like IBM, Deloitte, Accenture, Cognizant like Odisha to establish their organizations.
All lives are precious. Our Biju Health Welfare Scheme is working very well on this principle. Taking this forward we have started BSKY Naveen card. Due to this, more than four crore people’s medical concerns have been relieved.
Our development model has brought opportunities for everyone. Everyone has become a development partner. Odisha is moving forward with the support of everyone. We will build a new Odisha with the cooperation of everyone. Our Odisha will be the best Odisha. Empowered Odisha.
