Chef Minister Naveen Patnaik dedicated 286 transformed high schools in six districts

Bhubaneswar:24/1/24: Chef Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday dedicated 286 transformed high schools in six districts on the fourth day of the fourth phase of the 5T School Transformation programme.

The districts are Khordha, Subarnapur, Puri, Nayagarh, Boudh and Nabarangpur.

As many as 80 high schools in Khordha 14 schools in Subarnapur, 53 schools in Puri, 75 schools in Nayagarh, 10 schools in Boudh and 54 schools in Nabarangpur district have been dedicated by the Chief Minister.

It is worth noting that 6883 schools in the state have already been transformed in the first three phases of the 5T High School Transformation Programme. A total of 1794 schools will be transformed in the fourth phase. After the completion of this phase, a total of 8677 schools will be transformed in the State.

The Chief Minister has thanked the MLAs, Panchayat representatives, school management committee, teachers, students and parents of the concerned districts for their cooperation in this programme.

Addressing the students on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the era of transformation is going on in Odisha. Education elevates the collective mindset of our society. He said that the transformation of schools has paved the way for the new awakening in the Odia people. Starting from schools, colleges, hospitals, tourism areas, maths, temples, panchayats, villages, the work of transformation is going on everywhere. This transformation is paving the way for a new Odisha, a strong Odisha. The most important and best among these transformation programs is the school transformation program. The future of a nation is built from schools, the CM said.

Addressing the children, the Chief Minister explained the importance of 5T. He said that children will surely succeed if they apply it in their lives.

The Chief Minister also said that in this transformation programme under 5T initiative, smart classrooms, computers, modern laboratories have been arranged in your school. This is the application of technology. Similarly, everyone is working together through teamwork. All work is being done transparently after discussing with everyone. By using these things, your schools have been transformed. What you see and feel now.

The Chief Minister further said that 15 percent seats have been reserved in medical and engineering colleges for government school children. There has been a lot of improvement in the education of children in government schools. Now there is enthusiasm among children and parents to study in government schools, he added.

Participating in the programme, 5T Chairman Kartik Pandian said that the Chief Minister has provided all the facilities in the transformed school for the students of the State to fulfill their dreams for their future.

On this occasion, the students have shared their experiences in various places about the 5T school transformation programme.
