Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated Odia University’s new campus in Satyabadi

Bhubaneswar:24/1/24: Odisha Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik inaugurated Odia University’s new campus in Satyabadi. Describing Satyabadi as the sacred place of Odia Navajagaran, the chancellor of Odia University congratulated the faculty and students. The Chief Minister has said to encourage the creation of good literature based on our culture, our lifestyle, and our tradition. He has expressed hope that Odia University will lead in this direction.

On this occasion, Chief Minister paid homage to Adikabi Sarala Das and paid respect to the brave sons who fought for the protection and prosperity of Odia language, and literature. Chief Minister has said, ‘Language is the identity of a race’s identity. The crown of a nation is its language. Use of language increases it enriches and increases the pride of the nation. There is a need to attract young people towards Odia language and increase its use and focus on research. ‘

Describing the present time as the glorious time of Odia race, the Chief Minister has said, ‘Nearby Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath’s Parikrama Project has been inaugurated. Odia University campus was inaugurated today. The Samalei project is going to be inaugurated on January 27 and the first world Odia language conference will be held on February 3. So definitely this is a proud time for all of us, for the entire Odia race, the time of Asmita.
