Budget session of Odisha Assembly will be held from February 5, 2024

Bhubaneswar:19/1/24: The budget session of Odisha Assembly will be held from February 5, sources said on Friday.

The 15th session of 16th Assembly will have seven working days and begin with the address of  Governor Raghubar Das. Finance Minister Bikram Keshari Arukha will present a vote-on-account or interim budget for the first 4 months of fiscal year 2024-25 during this session, which will continue till February 13.

According to an official notification, the interim budget will be presented in the House on February 8 and the appropriation bill on Vote-on-Account will be tabled the following day.

This will be the last session of the assembly before the twin polls in Odisha.
