Jaipur Literature Festival 2024 promises an unmissable experience!

New Delhi: 11/12/23:The Jaipur Literature Festival 2024 is gearing up for its five-day literary extravaganza! Renowned as ‘the greatest literary show on earth,’ the Festival is scheduled from February 1st to 5th, 2024. The 17th edition promises a rich programme featuring distinguished writers, thinkers, and speakers from India and around the world. The Festival will be held at Hotel Clarks Amer in Jaipur.

With a history of hosting nearly 5000 speakers and artists and attracting over a million book enthusiasts from India and beyond, the iconic Festival is prepared to once again infuse the Pink City with its inspiring literary spirit.

Throughout the Festival days, attendees get a chance to witness thought-provoking conversations, savour sumptuous cuisine, enjoy incredible musical performances, and explore the Festival’s pop-up bookstore and the Festival Buzzaar.

A Range of Voices:  A variety of insightful sessions at the Festival will offer attendees the opportunity to explore diverse themes and gain valuable insights from some of the globe’s best speakers. Incredible Musical Performances: The Jaipur Music Stage (JMS), running alongside the Jaipur Literature Festival, will host incredible musical performances in the evenings. Acclaimed musicians including singer-songwriter Alif (Mohammad Muneem), bands like The Tapi Project and The Revisit Project, versatile artiste Prabh Deep, multilingual composer Harpreet, Mumbai-based musician Salman Elahi, and the upcoming band When Chai Met Toast will be coming to JMS! Additionally, the Jaipur Literature Festival will feature soulful Morning Music performances.

Festival Buzzaar and Food Stalls: Attendees will get a chance to discover a variety of food stalls offering delicious treats. The Festival will also showcase India’s rich artisanal collection at the Festival Buzzaar, located at Hotel Clarks Amer throughout the five days. Additionally, a Night Market will feature exquisite textiles, stationery, apparel, jewellery, footwear, home decor, and more, catering to diverse tastes.

Jaipur BookMark: The Jaipur BookMark (JBM), the biggest publishing conclave in South Asia runs concurrently with the Jaipur Literature Festival. Serving as a B2B platform, it unites publishers, literary agents, translation agencies, and writers for business discussions, alongside focused sessions. This year, the event will bring together stakeholders of the book trade and publishing industry, fostering opportunities for networking and collaboration.

Friend of the Festival Experience: The exclusive ‘Friend of the Festival’ (FOF) package promises an unparalleled experience. FOFs gain access to a private Festival Lounge, where they can unwind and network, occasionally mingling with Festival speakers.  The package includes lunches and dinners on Festival days, priority access to select sessions, and entry to the live music performances at the Jaipur Music Stage.
