54 express trains of East Coast Railway (ECoR) have been canceled because of impending cyclone Michaung over the Bay of Bengal

Bhubaneswar:2/12/23: As many as 54 express trains originating, terminating and passing through the jurisdiction of East Coast Railway (ECoR) have been canceled by Indian Railways to ensure the safety of the passengers because of impending cyclone Michaung over the Bay of Bengal.

Six pairs of trains originating from ECoR jurisdiction and 21 pairs passing through it have been canceled amid the cyclone forecast, sources said.

As per the IMD forecast, the cyclone is likely to reach South Andhra Pradesh and North Tamil Nadu coasts by December 4.
