5T, and Nabin Odisha Chairman VK Pandian visited the Puri Srimandir to take stock of progress of the ambitious Parikrama project

Puri: 2/12/23:On the directions of the Chief Minister, 5T, and Nabin Odisha Chairman VK Pandian on Saturday visited the Puri Srimandir early in the morning to take stock of progress of the ambitious Parikrama project in the pilgrim city.

Pandian reviewed the various aspects of the Parikrama project from morning 5 am to  am and held discussions with the devotees. The 5T Chairman suggested to speed up the development work of Dolabedi area, restoration of Emar Matha and Punjabi Matha, painting works of the front area of the Parikrama project

During the review, the 5T Chairman asked the officials to take steps for hassle-free darshan for elderly devotees and crowd management. He also urged to accelerate the restoration work and landscaping of Mathas

.Pandian ordered to complete the landscaping work of north, south, and west sides of the temple by 9th December. He advised to engage more skilled craftsmen for the reconstruction of the Mathas. Apart from this, he suggested that all the electrical works near the Meghanada pacheri should be completed soon. He ordered the immediate relocation of various poles, wires, and other service systems there. He ordered the preservation of the historic small temples and structures near the Meghanada pacheri. He emphasized the timely completion of an effluent treatment plant, improvement of sanitation system.Puri Collector, IG, SP, OBCC MD and officials various executive agencies were present during the 5T Chairman’s visit.
