Second direct flight services between Bhubaneswar and Jeypore in Koraput will commence on November 6, 2023

Bhubaneswar:4/11/23:The second direct flight services between Bhubaneswar and Jeypore in Koraput will commence on November 6, 2023, informed the Odisha Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on Saturday. The flight service is financially supported by the Odisha government and it will be operated by IndiaOne Air twice a day; Mondays and Fridays every week.

As per the India  One Air report, the flight will depart Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar at 7:10 a.m. and arrive at Jeypore at 8:45 a.m. On its return journey, the flight will take off at 9:00 a.m. from Jeypore and land at 10:35 a.m. in Bhubaneswar. The tickets for the flight service have been priced at Rs 2999 as an inaugural offer for the month of November only. Interested people can log in to the official website of IndiaOne Air to book their tickets.

The maiden flight from Bhubaneswar to Jeypore took off on October 31, 2022. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) had granted Jeypore Airport the license to carry out commercial flight operations under the regional connectivity scheme (UDAN). Jeypore is the first state-owned airport to get the license to operate flights in Odisha.
