Monsoon session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly was adjourned sine die a day before the schedule

Bhubaneswar: 3/10/23:The monsoon session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly was adjourned sine die on Tuesday a day before the schedule. Speaker Pramila Mallik adjourned the House, one day short of its scheduled duration. The session was scheduled to end on October 4.

On the last day of the current session, the House also witnessed a stormy situation as BJP members created din in the House over several issues. The Speaker had to adjourn the House till 4 pm and later 5.45 pm. Amid noise, the Appropriation Bill was passed and the CAG report was also tabled. The session had a total of seven working days and four official business days. As many as 13 bills were passed during the session.
