Secy to CM (5T) V K Pandian urges 1st batch of trainees of the OUPP to become the best in the world

Bhubaneswar:11/9/23:Interacting with the 1st batch of trainees of the Odisha Up-skilling & Placement Programme (OUPP) at the Skill Development Centre in Kendujhar, Secy to CM (5T) V K Pandian encouraged them to become the best in the world. As many as 180 students from across Odisha have taken admission in the first phase.

In his address, Shri Pandian exhorted the trainees to serve #Odisha whichever place or country they are, and whenever they get a chance to do so.Odisha Govt under 5T Initiative has launched the OUPP to train the youths, up-skill them in cutting edge #technology & ensure placement opportunities in IT Sector. The first phase of the programme is being executed in Kendujhar district in collaboration with Tech Mahindra as training partner & Tata Steel Foundation as skilling partner. The programme offers free of cost training, lodging, boarding & transport facilities.

The youths will be trained in advanced technology such as Java Full Stack, Cloud Technology & Data Analytics tools. Each batch would be of six months duration. Tech Mahindra has committed to hire 100% candidates after successful completion of the training and the trained candidates shall be designated as Software Engineer.
