Odisha government announced the names of the Fire Services, Home Guards, and Civil Defence who will be awarded for their distinguished services

Bhubaneswar: 14/8/23:On the eve of the 77th Independence Day, the Odisha government On Monday announced the names of the Fire Services, Home Guards, and Civil Defence who will be awarded for their distinguished services on Tuesday.

While three Fire Services personnel have been selected for the Fire Service Medal for Meritorious Service, five Home Guard volunteers will receive the HGs and CD Medal for Meritorious Service and one Civil Defence volunteer will receive the HGs and CD Medal for Meritorious Service.

Babuli Hati (Home Guard)

Umesh Naik (Home Guard)

Bipin Bihari Biswal (Home Guard)

HGs and CD Medal for Meritorious Service

Pramod Kumar Dalai (Civil Defence Volunteer)

In addition, 29 Fire Services personnel have been selected for DG Disc and Commendation Certificate, 13 Home Guards for Bronze Disc and Commendation Certificate, and five Civil Defece Volunteers for Bronze Disc Certificate.
