Bhubaneswar:27/7/23: President Droupadi Murmu left for New Delhi in a Special Indian Air Force (IAF) plane on Thursday evening after completing her three-day visit to Odisha.
Odisha Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik were present at the Biju Patnaik International Airport to see her off.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, took to Twitter and wrote, “It was a great pleasure having Hon’ble President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu ji in Odisha. Hope she had a pleasant visit and carried back rich memories of Odisha’s hospitality.”
Among others, Chief Secretary P K Jena, DGP S K Bansal, and Bhubaneswar Mayor Sulochana Das were also present at the Bhubaneswar airport.
President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Odisha on July 25. The following day, the President laid the foundation stone for a new Building at Raj Bhawan, addressed the valedictory function of 75th-year celebrations of Orissa High Court, graced the convocation of National Law University and attended the annual function of the SCB Medical College and hospital in Cuttack.
On the concluding day of her visit today, she interacted with some members of PVTG groups and laid the foundation stone for the “Lighthouse Complex” of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya at Dasabatia, Tamando, Bhubaneswar before leaving for the National Capital.
