Cheer Up Foundation’s Music Concert: Rejuvenating the Summer Spirit!

Tustin, CA –on July 26, 2023, Cheer Up Foundation hosted a captivating music concert, ‘Sangita Asara’ that left the audience mesmerized and hearts touched. The event, which aimed to raise funds for the musicians, brought together music enthusiasts and lovers alike for an evening of enchanting melodies and heartfelt support.

The highlight of the evening was the exceptional performance by the renowned vocalist, Dr. Sangita Gosain, whose soulful voice enraptured the audience and added an extraordinary touch to the event. Her passion for music was evident in every note she sang, inspiring everyone present to contribute generously to the cause. She covered intricacies of Odissi songs in finer details to Palli songs, Bhajans, Ghazals, Hindi and Odia movie songs etc. and finally ended with Sufisong, Dama Dam Mast Kalandar.

Accompanying Dr. Sangita Gosain was the incredibly talented and versatile artist, Dilip Acharya. Dilip’s instrumental (harmonium) prowess added depth and flair to the concert, elevating the overall experience and creating an unforgettable ambiance that resonated with all attendees. His songs and duets with Dr. Sangita Gosain added an extra flavor to the event.

The musical brilliance of both artists was further enhanced by the rhythmic Tabla accompaniment of AsishSatpathy, one of the dedicated volunteers of Cheer Up Foundation. Based on audience requests, they sang some of the classic and hilarious melodies as well.

The success of the event would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of co-ordinatorssuch as Kasturee Mohapatra, who worked tirelessly to organize and manage every aspect of the concert such as food and connecting to the music lovers to join the concert. Subrat Mohanty did an excellent job as presenter. Nandita Behera concluded with vote of thanks with a touch of humor.Our community kids helped in reception and felicitation of the artists by Sunity Behera and Nita Panda. Delicious food was served at the end by Susmita Pujari, Kasturee Mohapatra and Anima Dash. Satya Pisipati helped in sound and audio whereas Keerti Deepan Parida helped in camera support. The overall commitment to making a positive impact in the community is commendable and deserves heartfelt recognition.

Overwhelming support of the audience proved their love for the music. The audience cheered the artists with applause after every song. Cheer Up Foundation extends its deepest gratitude to Dr. Sangita Gosain and Dilip Acharya for their invaluable music presentation.
