Odisha Government has decided to recruit 7276 new doctors in Class-A posts

Bhubaneswar:24/7/23: The Odisha Government has decided to recruit 7276 new doctors in Class-A posts.

The Health and Family Welfare Department has requested the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) to start the process for recruitment of 7276 doctors in Class-A posts.Heath Secretary Shalini Pandit wrote a letter to the OPSC.

“The above vacancies are required to be filled up on regular basis on the recommendation of the Odisha Public Service Commission as per the provisions of Odisha Medical & Health Services Rule, 2017, Odisha Medical & Health Services Amendment, GA & PG Department Notification on February 22, 2021 and under OMHS Cadre Rules, 2017, on one time basis,” the letter reads.

“The qualifying marks will be decided by the OPSC while recommending the required number of doctors,” it added.
