Secy to CM (5T) VK Pandian visited Subarnapur District to review various developmental work

7/23:Subarnapur :4/As directed by CM Naveen Patnaik, Secy to CM (5T) VK Pandian visited Subarnapur District to review various developmental work. He visited Patali Shree Khetra at Kotsamlei and asked district administration to prepare detailed report for further development & pilgrim facilities. 5T Secy visited Parbati Giri Mega Lift Irrigation Project which is being implemented at a cost of ₹ 270 Cr. The project will be completed by September, 2023 which has an irrigation potential of 10,221 HA and will give a huge boost to the agriculture development in the district.

Shri Pandian inspected the progress of Mega Pipe Water supply project at Baunsuni which is being implemented at a cost of ₹417 Cr. In the first phase, 25 GPs of Dungurupalli will get the supply from Dec, 2023 and after completion more than 60 GPs will be provided drinking water. 5T also visited Papakshya Ghat in Binka Block and discussed about development of facilities for visitors. He visited Samadhi Pitha of Santha Kabi Bhima Bhoi in Khaliapali, offered prayer in the Sunya Mandir and asked officials to prepare master plan for development of the area.

Shri Pandian visited Gangadhar Meher High School Sagarpali covered under OdishaSchoolTransformation programme and Mukundpur Ashram School, interacted with the students and teachers present and encouraged the students to keep working to fulfil their goals and aspirations. In Sonepur, he interacted with Mission Shakti Odisha members and Office bearers and staff. While interacting with the college students, he informed about the approval of ₹13.25 Cr by CM Naveen Patnaik towards transformation of 09 degree colleges and 22 High Schools of the district

.Shri Pandian visited Rameswar Ghat where a detailed presentation was made on the proposed Instream Storage Structures to be built at Khairmal and Godhaneswar with an estimated cost of ₹925.59 Cr and ₹1021.81 Cr respectively. He asked the department officials to start work soon.He visited the construction site of Weaving Mall at Jhinki and interacted with weaver community. He heard their grievances and assured for their early redressal. 5T Secy directed the Dist Admin for timely completion of Weaving Mall & implementation of the CM Special package.

5T Secy also visited new building of District Headquarter hospital being constructed at a cost of ₹110 Cr and instructed to operationalise it soon. He interacted with the patients & doctors; visited the Help Desk & Canteen at MCH which are managed by members of MissionShakti. He also visited Subarnameru Temple and interacted with Sebayats and devotees regarding the development of the pilgrim facilities. Shri Pandian visited the temple of Maa Sureswari and interacted with the temple committee members and people regarding the development of the area.
