Results of the Odisha Plus Two Examinations-2023 for Science were announced

Bhubaneswar: 31/5/23:The results of the Odisha Plus Two Examinations-2023 for Science and Commerce streams conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) were announced today.

The overall pass percentage of Science stream has been recorded at 84.93 and the same for Commerce stream is 81.12.

Students can check their results by visiting the website orissaresults.nic.in.

Below are key figures of the results:

Science

No. of candidates appeared: 92950.

No. of candidates passed: 78938.

No. of boys passed: 42121.

No. of girls passed: 36817.

No. of students passed in 1st division: 39573.

No. of students passed in 2nd division: 24257.

No. of students passed in 3rd division: 14852.

No. of Higher Secondary Schools with 100% result: 291.

No. of Higher Secondary Schools with zero result: 2.

District with lowest pass percentage: Gajapati (61.55).

Commerce: 

No. of candidates appeared: 24082.

No. of candidates passed: 19536.

No. of boys passed: 12121.

No. of girls passed: 7415.

No. of students passed in 1st division: 7410.

No. of students passed in 2nd division: 4543.

No. of students passed in 3rd division: 7492.

No. of Higher Secondary Schools with 100% result: 94.

No. of Higher Secondary Schools with zero result: 0

District with highest pass percentage: Nayagarh (93.9).

District with lowest pass percentage: Boudh (55.55).

The results of Arts and Vocational streams will be published on a later date.

Around 3.5 lakh students had appeared the examinations under various streams this year. The CHSE had started evaluation of the answer sheets on April 10.

The process of evaluating the answer sheets took place at 65 offline evaluation centers and 39 online evaluation centers.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated the students who have cleared the Plus 2 Science and Commerce exams conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha.
