Prajwal Sahoo aka Omm has made his debut in Kapil Sharma-cast Hindi film ‘Zwigato’

Cuttack:17/3/23: A 13-year-old  Prajwal Sahoo aka Omm from Cuttack has made his debut in Kapil Sharma-cast Hindi film ‘Zwigato’. The Nandita Das-directed film will hit the theatres tomorrow (March 17).

According to the production house sources, most parts of the film were shot in Bhubaneswar. The child artiste Prajwal will be seen in a significant role. He has been cast as the son of comedy king Kapil.

The storyline of Zwigato has moved on emotional sequences and Kapil has played the role of a delivery boy in the film. Actress Sahana Goswami has been cast opposite Kapil. The film reflects the hardships of a middle-class delivery boy in the tough times of the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, the source said.

“I was selected in the audition from among 12 to 15 children. I enjoyed it a lot when I had to shoot on the sets for the first time. Previously, I did not know acting, but used to act a little bit when I had to cover up any lie at home,” Prajwal said.

Notably, in real life, Prajwal is the grandson of Dr Sarat Kumar Sahoo, the Managing Director,RUCHI a noted industrialist from Cuttack.Prajwal’s father Arabinda Sahoo and mother Shalini Sahoo have taken the brand name RUCHI to an even higher ground..
