CM congratulated officers and personnel of Odisha Fire Service for the tireless efforts in containing the massive fire at the Laxmi Market Complex

Bhubaneswar:10/3/23: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today congratulated officers and personnel of Odisha Fire Service, Odisha State Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA) and the Puri district administration for the tireless efforts in containing the massive fire at the Laxmi Market Complex in Puri and saving precious lives.

This was stated in a tweet by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) today.

Meanwhile, Odisha Fire Service Director General Santosh Upadhyay the firemen who were engaged in the fire fighting operation at the Laxmi Market Complex will be rewarded for their efforts.

The Fire Service DG said that the two Firemen who were injured and the other three officers who led the operation at the Laxmi Market Complex in Puri will be awarded DG Disc.

Every fireman who was deployed in the firefighting operation will be given a cash reward by the government to boost their morale, he added.
