Elections for the Notified Area Councils in Attabira and Hindol in Odisha will be held on April 3

Bhubaneswar:28/2/23: The State Election Commission on Tuesday announced the schedule for the elections for the Notified Area Councils (NACs) in Attabira and Hindol in Odisha.

The elections for both the NACs will be held on April 3.

The tenure of Attabira NAC in Bargarh district and Hindol NAC in Dhenkanal district ends on April 12, the State Election Commission said.

The voters will elect the councillors and Chairpersons in the two NACs.

As per the schedule, the candidates can file their nominations from March 9 to 15. The scrutiny of nominations will be done on March 17. The candidates can withdraw their nominations till March 20. The elections will be held on April 3. The counting of votes and declaration of results will be made on April 5. The election for vice chairperson will be conducted on April 19, the Commission said.
