Pramila Bisoyi has been conferred with the Bharat Asmita Jana Pratinidhi Shreshta Award

Bhubaneswar:9/2/23: Pramila Bisoyi, a Member of Parliament in Lok Sabha from Aska constituency in Ganjam district, has been conferred with the Bharat Asmita Jana Pratinidhi Shreshta Award as the Best Exponent of Parliamentary Practices.

The award has been given by MIT World Peace University, Pune to the BJD MP for her contribution to politics and endeavors towards women empowerment.Starting her career from Mission Shakti, Pramila Bisoyi has created her special identity as peoples’ representative.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated Pramila Bisoyi for the award.Bisoyi, who hails from Chermaria village of Aska block, was also a major force behind the villagers’ peacock protection movement at Pakidi hills near Aska, for which she was honoured with the Odisha government’s Prakruti Mitra and Prakruti Bandhu award, and the royal bank of Scotland Groups ‘Earth Heroes Award for 2019.
