Litterateur and mother of Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak’s Nirmalprava Nayak passed away

Bhubaneswar7/2/23: Litterateur and mother of Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare MinisterAtanu Sabyasachi Nayak’s Nirmalprava Nayak passed away while undergoingtreatment at a private hospital in Odisha capital on Monday evening.She was suffering from old-age ailments and was admitted to the hospital as hercondition deteriorated about four days ago. She breathed her last around 9.30 pm family sources said.She is survived by her two sons and three daughters.Nirmalprava was a teacher by profession and was conferred with the Sahitya Akademi award for her book ‘Sayanhara Smruti’.

She had also authored several other books and contributed to various magazines., she had been donating her pension money for the conservation of cows. She was inspired by Ramadevi and Annapurna Maharana.
