French Ambassador Thierry Mathou paid a courtesy call to Odisha Chief Minister

Bhubaneswar: 2/4/25:French Ambassador Thierry Mathou paid a courtesy call to Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan today to discuss bilateral relations between France and India. The meeting centered around discussing the development of Odisha and France, with a focus on exploring opportunities in investment, education, tourism, and other sectors in Odisha.

The discussions also revolved around the development of Odisha under the Vision Purvoday initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This vision aims to accelerate the growth of eastern India, and Odisha is poised to play a vital role in this endeavour. The two nations have been collaborating closely in various areas, including defence, space, and climate change mitigation.
