Blood Donation Camp organized at Higher Education Department

Bhubaneswar, 19th March: A blood donation camp was successfully organized at the Conference Hall of the Higher Education Department, jointly conducted by the State NSS Cell and the Cultural Association of the Higher Education Department. It saw an impressive collection of 65 units of blood, which was handed over to the Red Cross Regional Blood Centre, Bhubaneswar

The event was inaugurated by Arvind Agrawal,Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Higher Education Department. Shri Agrawal also donated blood in this blood donation camp.

Employees from the Higher Education Department actively participated in the donation drive. Notably, Sri Manoranjan Nayak, FA-cum-Special Secretary, and Sri Pramod Kumar Mishra, Special Secretary, also donated blood. Additionally, NSS and Youth Red Cross volunteers contributed to the noble cause.

Shri Kali prasanna Mahapatra, Director, Shri Ramakant Nayak, Special Secretary, Shri Prasant Mahapatra, Additional Secretary, Smt.Prativa Sahu, Joint Secretary,  Shri Ramesh Chandra Behera, SNO-cum-Deputy Secretary, Ms. Sarita Patel, NSS Regional Directo,r and Shri  Soumya Ranjan Behera, President of the Cultural Association of Higher Education Department were present.

This blood donation initiative showcased the commitment of officials and volunteers towards social responsibility and humanitarian service, reinforcing the spirit of community welfare and youth participation in noble causes.
