Adani Foundation organises Health Camp

Dhamra, February 24, 2025: In a commendable effort to promote health and well-being among students, the Adani Foundation, Dhamra in collaboration with the Help Age India Mobile Health Care Unit, organized a general health camp at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Chandimal. The camp was held on February 22, 2025, following a request from the Principal of JNV Chandimal, Mr. Biswanath Khillar.

The health camp, guided by the CSR Head, of Adani Foundation, provided free medical consultation to 495 students and distribution of free medicines to 243 students. The initiative aimed to ensure that students receive essential healthcare services and medicines at no cost, thereby supporting their overall health and academic performance. The camp was held through our mobile health care unit and included the participation of three doctors from Help Age India. Dr. Debraj Patra. Dr. Sarat Acharya, Dr. Harish Kumar all Medicine specialists visited the camp and conducted check-ups for all the students of JNV.

The students were also counseled on maintaining good health practices and the importance of regular medical check-ups. Mr. Biswanath Khillar expressed his gratitude towards the Adani Foundation and the Dhamra team for their generous support and dedication to the well-being of the students. “This health camp has been a significant step towards ensuring the health and wellness of our students. We are deeply thankful to the Adani Foundation team for their invaluable contribution,” he said.

The event was met with enthusiastic participation from the students, who appreciated the opportunity to receive free medical care and medicines. The success of this health camp highlights the importance of community collaboration in addressing healthcare needs and fostering a healthier future for the younger generation.
