Adani Group Champions Sustainability and Service at Mahakumbh : Electric Golf Carts Serve Over 3 Lakh Devotees

Prayagraj/Dhamra, 14.02.2025: The Adani Group has reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability and social service by continuing its electric golf cart service at the Mahakumbh, blending the spirit of devotion with a green initiative. This unique service has become a trusted mode of transport for senior citizens, women, and children, ensuring ease and accessibility during the grand religious event.

In just 32 days, the service has catered to over 3 lakh devotees, offering a hassle-free and environmentally friendly way to reach the revered Sangam. The initiative exemplifies the Adani Group’s dedication to fostering respect for senior citizens and women, while also showcasing a model of social goodwill. The operation deploys 40 electric golf carts daily, available in 4-seater, 8-seater, and 10-seater configurations. These carts make up to 55 trips each day, ferrying devotees from various pick-up points to the Sangam site and back. This thoughtful initiative has been particularly beneficial for senior citizens, the differently-abled, and mothers with young children, ensuring they no longer have to navigate long, tiring distances on foot.

Devotees have expressed overwhelming gratitude for the free service, which has provided comfort and convenience while upholding the sanctity of the pilgrimage. The electric carts not only minimize physical strain but also reinforce the event’s focus on inclusivity and accessibility. In addition to the transport service, the Adani Group has partnered with Gita Press and ISKCON to enhance the spiritual experience at Mahakumbh. Through this collaboration, they aim to deepen devotees’ connection with the ideals of Sanatan Dharma and simplify their participation in religious rituals.

This initiative has become a symbol of sustainable devotion, seamlessly integrating service, culture, and environmental consciousness. The Adani Group’s contribution to the Mahakumbh inspires a new paradigm of responsibility, where faith meets action, and tradition harmonizes with innovation.
