Implement measures for energy conservation at the earliest: Deputy CM Shri Singh Deo

Bhubaneswar: 22/01/2025:The senior officials of Energy Efficiency Service (EESL) gave a presentation on the upcoming steps for energy conservation in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment and Energy, Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo at Kharavela Bhawan today.

It was discussed to collaborate with the Government of Odisha to provide affordable low-power consumption appliances to consumers. Schemes like Urjaveer, and GovEasEE were discussed in detail and a short film was screened. In the meeting, it was discussed to replace the old fans in government offices with energy-efficient fans and electrical appliances. Deputy Chief Minister Sh. Singh Deo directed the department officers to thoroughly examine the schemes and take further steps for their early implementation.

The meeting was attended by the Principal Secretary, Energy Department Sh Vishal Dev, EIC Sh Pyarimohan Mishra, and senior officials of EESL.
