32nd Foundation Day and Annual Day of Odisha Staff Selection Commission observed

Bhubaneswar:19/1/25:The 32nd Foundation Day and Annual Day of Odisha Staff Selection Commission was observed in the Commission’s office on 18.01.2025 (19th being holiday). In 2024, as many as 12 Advertisements were published for 8933 vacancies in different posts. 29 examinations (12 Preliminary and 17 Main Written Exam) were conducted. Besides, 5 nos. of CST/ Typing Test/ Stenography Test were also conducted. Certificate verification of more than 11101 shortlisted candidates in 15 different examinations was conducted this year. A total of 4507 candidates were recommended for different posts to different Appointing Authorities for issue of appointment orders in their favor. The OSSC has also released a comparative achievement report, which shows improvements in the number of recruitment tests held and the number of candidates selected over the last 31 years.
