Govt To Sign MoU For Mega Steel Plant In Odisha’s Keonjhar

Keonjhar: 14/1/25:Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday inaugurated a bridge in Jhumpura of Odisha’s Keonjhar during his three-day visit to the district.

The bridge over a canal on Jhumpura-Ukhunda road will connect Jhumpura with Shrirampur. Around 10,000 population in the area will benefit from the bridge which has a length of 67 metres with an approach road of 175 metres. Speaking to the media at the inaugural function, the chief minister said his government was giving top priority to the development of Keonjhar in all sectors including education, health, and economy. In a step in this regard, he said the state government would sign an agreement for setting up a mega steel plant in the district during the Utkarsh Odisha program to be held in Bhubaneswar on January 28 and 29.

Earlier in the day, Majhi arrived at Raisuan airstrip in a special aircraft to take part in Makar Sankranti celebration in his home district.
