ADANI DAV Public School Observes Annual Sports Meet

Dhamra, 06.01.2025: Annual Sports Day was celebrated at Adani DAV Public School, Kumara, Bhadrak. The Principal of the school, Mrs. Krishnapriya Sharangi hoisted the Sports Flag of the school and administered the students the oath to play sports with sportsmanship. The Honourable Chief Guest of the Day, Mr. Mrunmaya Kumar Manna, Project Officer, Adani Foundation, Dhamra Port signaled the Sports Meet to start. More than five hundred students participated in various sports competitions under the supervision of the Physical Education Teacher, Mr Bibhuti Bhusan Swain.

Ayush Das (boy) and Adrisha Behera (girl) in Tiny Tots Group-I, Satya Prakash Das (Boy) and Priyanshi P. Patra (girl) in Tiny Tots Group-II, Prasanna Kumar Das and Omkar Mondal (boy) and Mousumi Mandal(girl) in sub-junior section, Aditya Mahakud (boy) and Shreya Maity (girl) in junior section and Rashmi Ranjan Mandal (boy) and Abhipsa Barik (girl) in senior section became the champion. In the competition, Mahanadi House was declared as the Champion and Yamuna House as the Runner-up as well. The teaching faculties took part in the competitions too. The Honourable Chief Guest, Mr Mrunmaya Kumar Manna , and the Principal of the school, Mrs. Krishnapriya Sharangi distributed interesting prizes and certificates to all position holders and winners. All teachers, students, parents, guardians, and non-teaching staff members of the school tried their best to cheer up the participants. Ms S.R Subudhi was the moderator of the Programme. Eventually, the programme was accomplished with a grand success.
