Odisha CM urges for the smooth conduct of the upcoming Utkarsh Odisha

Bhubaneswar:4/1/25:Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi held a meeting on Saturday with the Minister of Industries Sampad Chandra Swain and Secretaries from various departments to ensure the smooth conduct of the upcoming Utkarsh Odisha event.

The planning for the Utkarsh Odisha program has reached its final stages. During the meeting, Principal Secretary of the Industries Department, Hemant Sharma, presented detailed plans for the event to Chief Minister Majhi.

Chief Minister Majhi emphasized the importance of creating a unique identity for Odisha among national and international investors by conducting all programs flawlessly and attractively. He believes this approach will position Odisha as a preferred destination for investors in the long run.

The presentation highlighted that the Confederation of Indian Industries will hold its National Executive Council meeting on January 27. Over two days, from January 28-29, there will be four plenary sessions, 16 sectoral sessions, and four round table conferences attended by approximately 3,000 national and international industry leaders, investors, start-up entrepreneurs, and other industry stakeholders.

On January 28, the Prime Minister will address the assembled industrialists and investors. Throughout the two days, various special sessions will be conducted, including speeches by eminent industrialists, a round table meeting with India’s largest industrialists led by the Chief Minister, a special session for Odia entrepreneurs, and a session for women business leaders. Additionally, there will be a special session for Odia women entrepreneurs called ‘Subhadraru Mudra.’ An industrial exhibition is also scheduled to take place from January 28 to 30.

Attendees of the meeting included Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain, Development Commissioner Anu Garg, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Nikunj Bihari Dhal, Additional Chief Secretary of the Public Administration Department Surendra Kumar, and Secretaries from various departments.
