DPCL Merit Scholarship awarded to 28 students

Dhamra, 28/12/2024: Adani Foundation, the CSR arm of the Adani group has been awarding the DPCL Merit Scholarship award to meritorious students of 10 Government High Schools present in the vicinity of Dhamra Port Company Limited (DPCL). The program aims to recognize the achievement of the students in their High School Board Examination performance and encourage them for their career growth with the support of financial assistance for two years to undertake their Higher Secondary studies.

This year, the foundation recognized the top 28 students from 10 vernacular medium high schools in the Adani Dhamra Port periphery with DPCL Merit Scholarship, recognizing their performance in the High School Board Examination- 2023-24 academic year. The students were honoured with a Medal, Certificate of appreciation, T-Shirt, Learning Kit, and financial assistance for pursuing their Higher Secondary Education. The event is graced by CRCC Karanjamal, School President and CEO Dhamra Port, The foundation will continue to assist for two years to make these students able to complete their Higher Secondary Studies and move for better career opportunities. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students and parents.

Started in 2009, the Dhamra Port is now extending the scholarship support to the top 30 students every year for their career building. As of now, 394 students were supported with the Vidyaratna- DPCL Merit Scholarship from the 10-vernacular medium high schools, located in 09 Gram Panchayat of Dhamra Port periphery.
