Failed to Counter BJP’s False Promises, But People Still Trust Us: Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar:26/12/24: On the occasion of the Biju Janata Dal’s (BJD) foundation day, party president and Odisha’s LoP Minister Naveen Patnaik addressed party workers, reflecting on the recent Assembly election results.

Patnaik stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power by making “false promises” and running a “negative campaign,” which the BJD was unable to counter effectively.

However, Patnaik emphasized that despite the setback, the BJD has not lost the trust of the people. “Our party has always prioritized the welfare and development of Odisha. The people’s faith in our vision and commitment remains intact, and we will work harder to serve them,” he said during his speech.

The BJD president called upon party members to remain united and focused on rebuilding public trust by intensifying their outreach and addressing issues affecting the state’s citizens. He assured that the party would continue its legacy of delivering on its promises and championing Odisha’s progress.

The foundation day event witnessed the participation of senior leaders, grassroots workers, and supporters who pledged their continued support to the party’s goals. The BJD leadership reiterated its resolve to prepare for future challenges and make a strong comeback in the next elections.
