Policing, Security Discussed on Productive Day 1 at DGP/IGP Meet

Bhubaneswar:30/11/24:The first day at the DGP/IGP Conference in Bhubaneswar was productive and various topics on policing and security were discussed, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Taking to X, PM Modi posted:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently attending the All India Conference of Directors General of Police (DGP) and Inspectors General of Police (IGP) in Bhubaneswar.

This three-day event, which started on November 29, 2024, is focused on addressing critical national security issues such as counterterrorism, coastal security, and new criminal laws123.

The conference includes various sessions, starting with yoga in the morning, followed by business and breakout sessions.

PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are actively participating in these discussions, which aim to enhance India’s internal security apparatus
