Indian Film Personality of the Year presented to Actor Vikrant Massey at IFFI 2024

Goa :29/11/24:  Actor Vikrant Massey was conferred the prestigious Indian Film Personality of the Year award at gala concluding ceremony of the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. The honor was presented by Shri Pramod Sawant, Chief Minister of Goa, and Shri Sanjay Jaju, Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, in recognition of Massey’s extraordinary contributions to Indian cinema

In an emotional acceptance speech, Vikrant Massey reflected on his journey, saying, “This is a truly special moment for me. I never imagined I would receive such an honor. Life has its ups and downs, but we must always be ready to restart, as my character did in the film 12th Fail.”

He further added, “I am a storyteller at heart. I choose scripts that allow me to become the voice of the common people. Own yourself, your stories, and your roots, wherever you come from. The Indian film industry is one of the most spectacular industries to be a part of.”

Vikrant Massey’s journey is a remarkable testament to how dreams and struggles can propel anyone to incredible heights. He expressed excitement for the future, noting, “There are many unexplored sides to my acting skills, much of which is yet to be discovered. Please wait and watch.”

Vikrant Massey’s impressive filmography includes notable projects such as Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), A Death in the Gunj (2016), Lipstick Under My Burkha (2016), Half Girlfriend (2017), Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare (2019), Ginny Weds Sunny (2020), and the science fiction gem Cargo (2020). Each performance showcased his versatility and dedication to his craft, earning critical and audience acclaim.
