President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit Odisha from December 3 to 7

Bhubaneswar:24/11/24:President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit Odisha from December 3 to 7, gracing multiple events in Puri, Bhubaneswar, and Mayurbhanj.

The President’s schedule indicates she will land on December 3 via a special Indian Air Force aircraft and unveil a statue of Pandit Raghunath Murmu at Niladri Vihar that evening.

Her visit to the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri is planned for the following day for the darshan of the Holy Trinity. Later, she will also participate in the 75th anniversary of Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya.

On December 4, President Murmu will observe a Naval Power demonstration by the Indian Navy on Navy Day at Puri’s Blue Flag beach. This marks the first occasion for such a grand Naval exhibition in Odisha, attended by the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

The following day, she will preside over the convocation at the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology in Bhubaneswar and inaugurate the new Judicial Court Complex.

On December 6, President Murmu will pay homage to the statue of Dr B R Ambedkar at AG Square on his death anniversary, then visit her ancestral village in the Mayurbhanj district.

She will engage with students and educators at Uparbeda Government Higher Secondary School and interact with locals at her residence, where she will also flag off a vehicle gifted by the SLS Trust Board to the Sub-Divisional Hospital in Rairangpur.

Additionally, President Murmu will also visit a local women’s college and offer prayers at Shree Punyeshwar Mahadev Temple later that day.

On the final day of her visit, the President is slated to inaugurate several railway projects before her departure to New Delhi.

Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja has reviewed all arrangements to ensure a seamless visit for the President.
