Bhubaneswar:26/11/24: The Inter-Ministerial Central Team arrived to evaluate the destruction wrought by Cyclone Dana and held discussions with Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday.
A seven-member team, headed by the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Joint Secretary PK Rai, toured the severely affected districts of Bhadrak, Kendrapara, and Balasore on the 24th to assess the extent of the damage.

Additionally, he advocated for the establishment of a state-of-the-art Disaster Management Center in Bhubaneswar and urged the Central Government to provide the necessary assistance for these endeavors.
During the discussion, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari stated that creating sustainable infrastructure is key to accelerating Odisha’s economic development.
