Odia community in Singapore has accorded a warm welcome Odisha  Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi

Singapore:17/11/24: Odisha  Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi reached La Hotel in Singapore as a part of his four-day foreign trip. Team Odisha cordially receives Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha Shri Mohan Charan Majhi at Singapore’s Shangri La Hotel, the site of the Odisha Business Meet Singapore 2024, and an interactive session with the Odia community in Singapore.

His visit assumes significance ahead of the ‘Utkarsh Odisha: Make-in-Odisha Conclave 2025’ scheduled to be held in January next year. Hon’ble Chief Minister will also lead a series of G2B discussions over the next 4 days with prospective investors in Singapore looking to invest in Odisha.

The Chief Minister is leading a high-level delegation to Singapore, which includes Industry Minister Shri Sampad Chandra Swain and other state officials.¹ The visit aims to promote business ties and interact with the Odia community in Singapore.Majhi is set to explore potential collaborations with top industry leaders, investors, and policymakers in Singapore. This outreach program aims to yield results for setting up new industries and creating job employment opportunities in Odisha.
