Odisha Chief Minister attended the launch ceremony of the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas official website

New Delhi:12/11/2 4: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi attended the launch ceremony of the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas official website in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Along with the CM, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar also attended the website launch ceremony held at C B Muthamma Hall, Jawaharlal Nehru Bhawan in the national capital, official sources said.

The website was launched by the Ministry of External Affairs in the presence of Jaishankar and Majhi. The envoys in different countries also joined the launch event through video conference.

The 18th Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas is scheduled to take place from January 8-10, 2025, in Odisha. Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister highlighted the rich culture and heritage of Odisha and the state’s ancient trade ties with a host of countries.

Addressing the function, Jaishankar said the newly-launched website will be highly useful for the overseas Indians.Majhi is scheduled to return to Bhubaneswar on Wednesday morning.
