Bhubaneswar:6/11/24:Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo reviewed activities and projects of Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited and all the DISCOMS in a meeting held at Kharavel Bhavan in Bhubaneswar, in the presence of Principal Secretary Shri Hemant Sharma, IAS. The Deputy CM also reviewed plans for transmission and distribution network expansion.

Addressing the meeting, the Deputy CM directed all the stakeholders to expedite the projects to ensure seamless supply of electricity across Odisha. He thanked all the DISCOMs for their excellent restoration work after CycloneDana, which affected many districts of the state.
During the meeting, Shri Sharma apprised the Deputy CM of the status of various ongoing projects in the State. He also asked OPTCL and the DISCOMs to take appropriate measures for faster resolution of issues related to the operation and functioning of projects.
