Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Kolkata organised the Inaugural Ceremony of Month-long Celebration of Bengal Theatre Rejuvenation Festival

Kolkota:4/11/24: Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Kolkata, Ministry of Culture, Government of India organised the Inaugural Ceremony of Month-long Celebration of Bengal Theatre Rejuvenation Festival during November and December 2024 – APNA BHARAT JAGTA BENGAL – Art India, Smart India to commemorate two-profound years of His Excellency Dr. C. V. Ananda Bose, Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal and Chairman, EZCC.
His Excellency Dr. C. V. Ananda Bose, Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal and Chairman, EZCC has inaugurated the event on 4th November 2024 at Purbashree Auditorium, Kolkata in the presence of the eminent theatre personalities Shri Ajoy Malkani, Sangeet Natak Akademi Award recipient from Jharkhand, Shri Pravez Akhtar, Sangeet Natak Akademi Award recipient from Bihar, Shri Manoj Kumar Pattanayak, Sangeet Natak Akademi Award recipient from Odisha, Shri Gunakar Dev Goswami, Sangeet Natak Akademi Award recipient from Assam, Shri Amit Banerjee, and Shri Piyal Bhattacharya both Sangeet Natak Akademi Award recipient from West Bengal. The drama – Janashatru, directed by Shri Sandip Bhattacharya from the theatre group Rangasram, Baharampur was staged this evening.

This programme will cover 10 districts i.e. South 24 Parganas, North 24 Pargans, Howrah, Hooghly, Puba Medinipore, Paschim Medinipore, Birbhum, Nadia, Coochbehar, South Dinajpur of West Bengal.
