BJD has retained the post of Kendrapara Zilla Parishad Chairman:Leaders met party president

Kendrapada:22/8/24: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has retained the post of Kendrapara Zilla Parishad Chairman.  Lilita Das, after being elected as the chairperson unopposed, visited Naveen Nivas and met party president and Leader of the Opposition Naveen Patnaik, and took his blessings.

Patnaik congratulated Das and expressed gratitude to other ZP members.

Out of the 31 ZP members, 29 are from the Biju Janata Dal.

On the occasion, Patnaik said that Biju Janata Dal is always with the people. The party is working for the people and will continue to do so, he said.

He also advised the ZP members keep up the good work for people. “I am always with you,” he added.

Several party workers from Kendrapara, MLA Pratap Deb, MLA Dhruba Sahu, MLA Arvind Mahapatra, MLA Ganeshwar Behera, former Minister Pratap Jena and Kendrapara BJD MP candidate Ansuman Mohanty were present.
