Rs 70 Cr Allocated For Establishment Of Rayagada Railway Division

Rayagada:26/7/24: The establishment of the Rayagada Railway Division has taken a significant step forward with the provision of Rs 70 crore allocated for this project.

The Railway Minister announced to the press today, following a meeting with Member of Parliament Balabhadra Majhi, that the design plan is nearing completion and construction will begin promptly.

Member of Parliament for Nabarangpur, Shri Balabhadra Majhi, thanked the Honorable Railway Minister, saying, “I am grateful to the Honorable Railway Minister for addressing the long-awaited Rayagada Railway Division issue, which is of great public interest. After extensive discussions with the Minister, I am delighted to report that we are nearing the completion of the formalities required to establish the Rayagada Division. The commencement of work is imminent, pending the finalization of tenders.”

The creation of the Rayagada Railway Division is expected to significantly benefit the area by improving connectivity and stimulating economic development. This initiative demonstrates the government’s dedication to enhancing infrastructure and delivering superior services to the populace.
