Bhubaneswar: 20/7/24: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of Odisha unit concluded its two-day extended state executive meeting in Puri, marking a significant milestone with the passage of a political resolution and approval of five proposals.

At a press meet, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari outlined the party’s vision for a corruption-free and transparent governance, emphasizing balanced and equitable development. He said that the BJP aims to build a “modern Odisha, developed Odisha” by 2036, coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the state’s formation.

The executive meeting highlighted the party’s achievements, including winning 20 out of 21 Lok Sabha seats in the 2024 elections. Pujari criticized the Congress party and its leader Rahul Gandhi for their remarks on Hinduism and democracy. The Minister also slammed the previous BJD government for allegedly looting over Rs 50,000 crore per year under the guise of the 5T model and neglecting Odia Asmita.

The BJP government has promised to open the four doors of the Shree Jagannath temple and Ratna Bhandar, which the government did. The government is also working to implement various schemes, including paddy MSP hikes, wage hikes, and Subhadra Yojana. With a 12-year roadmap in place, the party is committed to making Odisha a corruption-free, crime-free, and transparent state, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision.
